Non gazetted Forest employees protest for their demands in Chenab Valley | KNO

BHADERWAH ,MAR 15 (KNO) : The Non Gazetted Officers Association of Forest Department Bhaderwah protested against the authorities for failing to fulfill their service demands.

The association led by its Coordinator Chenab circle Doda Abdul Hafeez Dar gheraoed Divisional Forest office at Bhaderwah here and shouted slogans against the authorities.

The employees said that their demands including convening of departmental promotion committee of all cadres including class IV employees, drivers, cleaners, ministerial staff, pay anomaly, two days extra salary, risk allowance, providing of two and half day additional salary in favor of all forest employees and others are yet to be fulfilled by the department. “The officers are enjoying their promotion and postings but the non gazetted employee are ignored and deprived of their legal service benefits”,

Abdul Hafeez Dar said, adding that the government should resolve their demands or face a prolonged agitation. Later, protesting employees also submitted a memorandum of their demands to DFO Bhadarwah urging their early redressal. Gulam Mohi-Ud-Din , Bodh Raj , Jahangir Iqbal , Sarfraz Ahmed , Sanjay Kumar , Rafiq Ahmed Naik , Bipen Kumar , Farooq Ahmed , Zahoor Ahmed , Tariq Ahmed , Diwan Singh and other were also present on the occasion . Similar reports of protest and demonstration by fortexst empolyees were also reported from Kishtwar and Doda .(KNO)
